Description

Used to determine the time of setting of concrete with slump greater than zero by means of penetration resistance on mortar screened from a concrete mixture. Also used to determine the effects of variables upon the setting and hardening of concrete.Unit includes a cast aluminum base, gear rack mounted force cylinder, 200 lbf (890 N) dial gauge graduated in 2 lbf divisions and a set of six (6) penetration needles in a storage rack allowing multiplication to a maximum 8000 lbf reading.

Meets ASTM C403, AASHTO T197, EN 933-8.
